Court Locations
Court numbers start from court 1 in the Anzac Highway corner nearest the carpark and are numbered in a zigzag format from Anzac Highway to Goodwood Road.
Spectator Areas are designated as on the Anzac Highway and Goodwood Road sides of the venue as well as in the wide area down the centre of the courts where the wooden shelters are located.
Scorers benches are located in the narrow areas between the courts. Only scorers, officials and coaches and team benches are permitted in these areas. These are NOT walkways whilst matches are in progress.
Water fountains are located in the middle of the courts near the wooden shelters. They have a bubbler on the top and a bottle filler on the side of the fountain.
Where do coaches stand?
Team benches can be set up either with the spectators OR in the middle of the courts near the scorers benches.
If team benches are set up near the scorers bench there must be space between the bench and the scorers so that the scorers are NOT distracted. Coaches should also make sure that they stay clear of the umpire lanes.
Coaches are NOT permitted to walk up and down the court sides OR change position during the match. Once a team bench has been established this is where the coach and reserve players need to be located.
